Motor with Integrated Electronics

Lunatone is aware of the particular importance of space requirement, expenses and EMC. That’s why we focus on integrated drive solutions. The permanent magnet synchronous motor with directly attached power electronics and position measurement meets these requirements.

Ball Screw Drives

One of our special applications is the position drive control based on a ball screw spindle. A wide knowledge regarding mechanics, construction, motor technology and power electronics made it possible to produce this power/mass-optimized user friendly widget.

Linear Motor Drive

The Linear Motor Drive is an other costume build product. It was designed for very fast speed-reversals. It is made up of a long stator system and a slide (“rotor”) specially optimized for force/mass ration (no power leads, contact less position measurement). With this special design accelerations up to 50g are possible while maintaining a position accuracy of ± 100 microns.

Specific Drive Solutions

Lunatone’s product portfolio ranges from simple applications like stepper motor controllers with/without encoder feedback via v/f controlled induction machines to vector-controlled servo drives and application-specific special drives (e.g., linear motors, switched reluctance motors).

The motors we use are either standard components or provided by the customer.
All machines can be costume-built, redesigned, optimized and adjusted to the required power electronics.
We offer our customers partial solutions, optimization of existing applications, or the development of completely new systems (electrical machines, power electronics and drive software).
