Development has been, and remains Lunatone’s key part. Currently 21 people work in this department. This highly qualified team has been developing electronic devices, components and software for almost two decades. Our costumers are companies like Siemens, Starlinger and Zumtobel.
Lunatone developed a countless number of successful projects, especially in corporation with the University of Technology Vienna and external specialists.
Over the years we gathered substantial experiences. Therefore, our continually growing team is able to supply our customers with excellent and advanced developments.
Especially information technology, power electronics, industrial design, mechanical construction, prototyping and software development. With an interdisciplinar strategy and a holistic approach we solve complex tasks professionally and economically, to the satisfaction of our customers.

Beside product design and development we focus on production. In the last twenty years about 90% of our products were produced and tested in-house. The connection between development, production and product test has advantages.
The development of new products is influenced by the feedback from our production and testing stations. Improvements can be made at an early stage of the development. This approved method led to a steady growth of production capacity.
In 2006 a subsidiary in Plovdiv, Bulgaria was opened due to increasing output figures. All requirements are covered starting with prototyping and tooling, manufacturing of electronic assemblies, programming and testing as well as manufacturing plastic injection moulded parts in small and large quantities.
